Changing the Care Conversation (CTCC) Caregiver Coalition​ Guiding Principles/Priorities


The Changing the Care Conversation (CTCC) Caregiver Coalition will use the 2022 National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers as its guiding principles as they raise their voice to advocate for the needs of family caregivers. The RAISE Act is a roadmap to improved services and supports for family caregivers.

The National Strategy proposes 5 main goals:
  1. ​Increase awareness and outreach
  2. Build partnerships and engagement with family caregivers         
  3. Strengthen services and supports
  4. Ensure financial and workplace security
  5. Expand data, research, and evidence-​         based practices
