3 easy steps to becoming an advocate:

Step 1: Educate yourself.

Education provides you with:
  • Tools, knowledge, and confidence to create meaningful change around the issues you care about.
  • In-person or online advocacy groups in your community to learn more and stay informed.
  • Connect with others who share your passion.

Step 2: Communicate with your elected officials.

Ways to communicate:
  • Emails, letters, phone calls, and social media.
  • Build a relationship with your elected officials.
  • Consistent communication helps them understand your values and keeps your issues at the forefront of their attention.

Step 3: Vote!

Your voice matters:
  • Voting turns that awareness into real policy change.
  • Help choose leaders who share your values.
  • Decisions that impact your community, your family, and your future.
