Elder Mediation
- A discussion facilitated by mediators to help families engage in constructive decision-making around difficult issues and sources of conflict concerning an older adult.
- Family members come together in person or by phone or video conference with a mediator to discuss their interests, increase their understanding of one another, and develop a plan to resolve their differences.
- The mediator meets with family members jointly and/or individually to help them determine the issues, discuss options, improve communication, and determine how to best access information and address the needs of all parties.
