The Aging Matters Education and Expo event is designed to educate older adults, their adult children, family caregivers and service providers about resources, services and critical issues to ensure those we love age with dignity and choice.
Now in its 7th year, the event is produced by the Detroit Caregivers Support Collaborative whose founding goal was, and continues today, to connect Metro-Detroit families to the aging network of service delivery.
The collaborative includes: Bridging Communities Inc., Neighborhood Legal Services Michigan - Elder Law & Advocacy Center, Southeast Michigan Senior Regional Collaborative, and Urban Aging News.
Aging well is an intentional choice that requires planning and information-seeking before a medical event. The Aging Matters Education & Expo event promises tools for both.
