Thank you for your interest in joining the Southeast Michigan Senior Regional Collaborative. Membership is open to those who work and/or provide services to older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers throughout southeast Michigan. Members include: Non-profit organizations, Government Entities, Educational Institutions and Individuals. All applications are reviewed by the SRC Board of Directors for approval.

*The SRC provides a place to access a variety of organizations that focus on older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers across the Metropolitan Detroit area. These organizations often deliver a number of services that are culturally inclusive; support children and families; access to transportation, increase food accessibility and disease preventative education. Join a Committee!Members are encourage to further participate within the SRC by joining committees. Agencies and organizations are not limited to joining only one committee. Multiple representatives of agencies and organizations can join the same or different committee.
Member Engagement CommitteesAdvocacy Committee
Works with SRC ED to identify emerging and ongoing issues at the local, state and federal level that impact SRC members Benefits Access Committee Works with SRC members to expand access to benefits for seniors throughout the SRC service area Data and Evaluations Committee Supports SRC work around data share, anyalysis and assessment, works on supporting the QAM tool Training Committee Plans and implements professional development conferences and workshops on important topics for SRC members and non-members Community Care Hub Committee Champions the collective development of an integrated care hub. The CCH initiative engages member agencies to provide a network of service options to community organizations, hospital and health system providers. It works together with the Data and Evaluation Committee for data collection, analysis and Quality Improvement efforts. Organization Management CommitteesFinance Committee
Oversees SRC financials, reviews financial reports Governance Committee General oversight for SRC bylaws, policies and procedures Membership Committee Recruits new members, help retain current members and provides recommendations to the Board on membership policies Resource Development Committee Works with staff to develop sustainable funding streams for SRC and member projects Communications Managing the Marketing, Branding and Social Media of SRC; along with developing a communication plan *Monthly Committee Schedule available HERE *Opportunities for staff to participate in dynamic grass root committees that support member organizations, their leadership and staff. |
