Hi there! My name is Adam Bayoumi, and I just graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County this May with a Bachelor’s in Public Health! This summer, I have the privilege of interning with the Southeast Michigan Regional Senior Collaborative through the University of Michigan’s Future Public Health Leaders Program (FPHLP), and I am eager to work towards improving the quality of life for older adults, those with disabilities in the region, and the caregivers that support them.

Ashley Flores
My name is Ashley Flores, a rising senior at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. I am currently working on obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in French as a Posse Scholar. I am a member of the 2026 Future Public Health Leaders cohort at the University of Michigan, which has allowed me to be a part of the SRC! During my time with the SRC, I aim to sharpen the vital skills needed as an aspiring adult-specialist Board Certified Behavior Analyst and provide support for our elders. My aim is to be an advocate for neurodivergent people of all ages and backgrounds, especially adults of color, in a field that has consistently neglected their needs.

Michael MartainHi! I’m Michael Martain, a senior at Eastern Michigan University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration. I currently work as a Health Information Analyst at the University of Michigan’s Central Campus clinic. I am excited to be interning with Senior Regional Collaboration of Southeast Michigan, where I will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public health while strengthening my passion for improving the quality and accessibility of care for older adults in the community where I live. My long term goal is to become the director of a health department and help close the healthcare equity and accessibility gap, ensuring that all patients have access to high quality care
